Zawitz was born in Pittsburgh and headquartered in San Francisco and Hong Kong, Zawitz has practised art for over forty years. Born in Pittsburgh and San Francisco. After earning a BA in Fine Arts Sculpture from the University of Hawaii and a double minor in Asian Art History and Asian Philosophy, he travelled and researched extensively throughout Asia, especially Japan, Thailand, India, Nepal, and Tibet. His artistic practice and worldview have had a profound impact.
