Artist, architect, curator. Peking University Guanghua MBA Class of 2018,
Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (BA) and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (MA).
His works have been exhibited at V&A, London Design Week, Beijing International Design Week and other exhibitions. He also created landmark artworks for institutions such as Shenzhen Merchants Shekou and Hangzhou Vanke. Participating artist and executive curator of the "Shared Regeneration" parallel exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
Dai Shang
Artist
Artist, engineer, designer. Graduated from Tsinghua University, Royal College of Art. He is currently teaching at Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and the head of the Technology Media Laboratory.
Project Introduction
The works of the Gate of Wonders were commissioned by Hangzhou Vanke Group Future Light Project Company. ToMaster was the general art consultant and produced by the artist Dai Shang and Meng Lingxizhu studio.
Liangzhu "Future Light" is located in the center of Vanke Future Light Wuqian Square. It is a unique cultural symbol in this new city. As the first public art landmark of Hangzhou Vanke in Liangzhu Cultural Village, the work can have a continuous positive radiation influence on the local urban cultural image, and is a city gift from Vanke to Liangzhu and Hangzhou.
